About Us

My name is Matthew Gerrish and I am the owner of Flying Yankee Films, a production company based out of Brooklyn, NY. I went to Emerson College for film and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute for the two year acting conservatory program. I have worked on many films over the last few years that have gone through many film festivals. I have been recognized at several film festivals like the Austin Film Festival, IndieWorks, Queens World Film Festival, and several others. My current short film, For the Benefit of Mr. Winston, is being submitted to Sundance.
