Descripción del trabajo

The project is a Christmas-themed animated parody newscast, and we're hoping to find a man-of-a-thousand-voices who can perform our three main characters:

WALTER FROSTBITE: A snowman news anchor. Stiff, formal. Think Jim Dial from Murphy Brown, or Tom Tucker from Family Guy.

FARGLASS: A pompous, nerdy, professorial elf. Takes himself way too seriously. Thinks he's smarter than everyone. Easily ruffled and quick to take offense. A British accent could be a possibility. We'd like to pitch this voice up (chipmunk effect) for maximum elf-ishness. This would require reading the lines slower, before the effect is applied.

NICK/SANTA: A caller who initially pretends to be "Nick from Walla Walla Washington". Actually turns out to be Santa Claus. Rich, friendly, mellifluous voice. Easy-going and relaxed, until his identity is revealed. Then he panics and hangs up.

We expect to edit the audio track ourselves, so our voice actor can simply submit a series of line readings and allow us to edit in the various interruptions and comedy beats. However, if you prefer to perform the script in sequence, we can work that way too.

The enclosed script is nearing final draft status, but some minor edits may be forthcoming. We can also provide the successful applicant with pre-production artwork to help visualize each character.
